Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors. Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.
Master Croft has practiced Martial Arts for over 35 years. He has his 6th Dan Taekwondo Black Belt certification through the Kukkiwon in Seoul Korea. Member of the World Taekwondo Headquarters – Kukkiwon, USA Taekwondo, United States Taekwondo Grandmaster Society, AAU Taekwondo. Master Croft holds a 4th Dan Master Instructor certification in Haidong Gumdo, a Korean Sword Art, and is a member of the Texas State Haidong Gumdo Association and World Haidong Gumdo Federation. He also has a Bachelors of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, and is working on his Masters in Business Administration. Master Croft also served 6 years in the US Navy Submarine Service.
Joey is a 2nd Dan Black Belt Certified through the Kukkiwon. He has over 15 years total Tae Kwon Do experience, 13 years teaching experience and spent 8 years managing and teaching at his own Tae Kwon Do school in Houston, TX after graduating from college. He has also competed in both Sparring and Forms at the State and National level and was a Gold, Silver and Bronze medalist on numerous occasions. Joey graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Management. He joined the Croft Tae Kwon Do team in 2018 after moving to the Keller area in 2015. He enjoys living an active lifestyle working out and spending time with his family, which includes teaching his son, Cooper, Tae Kwon Do, who is also a student at Croft
Tae Kwon Do.
Master Cory Franks has practiced Taekwondo for 22 years. He holds a 4th DAN Black Belt certification through the Kukkiwon. Mr. Franks also has a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing, Associates degrees in both nursing and music and is completing his master’s degree as a Clinical Nurse Leader. Mr. Franks and his wife live in Fort Worth with their son Cooper and Cameron. Mr. Franks credits much of his personal and professional accomplishments to the qualities he developed through his training in Taekwondo.
Chris d’Angelo is a 3rd Dan Black Belt Certified through the Kukkiwon. Mr. d’Angelo also runs our Competition Team that competes in Sparring and Forms. He is also a 1st DAN Blackbelt in Haidong Gumdo. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music and is an Eagle Scout. He and his family live in Fort Worth and all practice Tae Kwon Do.
